Street Lighting Update

Here is the current plan for the next 2 weeks.

Monday 5/14

• All 46 Street Poles of Phase 1 are installed.
• The lighting fixtures that mount on top of the poles are in the process of installation.
• The target date is to have all of the first phase lit and working by Saturday 5/19.

The complete lighting renovation plan for BV includes all new power distribution controllers.  There will be times during this week that you will see lights that are not lit in some areas for a day or two.  You will also see some of the new lights on 24 hours a day.  This is all to be expected and the new connections should be be made by the end of the week.

The old light poles will be removed as power connections are terminated and once that is completed, the first phase will be turned over to Harvest Landscape for landscape repairs and reseeding of grass areas.

Monday 5/21

• Phase 2 preparations will continue.
• SIGNAGE and BARRICADES will be placed on Monday for DO NOT PARK AREAS on Tuesday 5/22.
• The large delivery of Light Poles will arrive on Tuesday and the construction crews will be erecting the poles on the new bases that were poured last week. There will be Traffic Interruptions and you will be directed on alternate routes
• in and out of the community. You will always have access to your homes and garages.
• Wednesday the new light fixtures will arrive for Phase 2 and installation will begin. Tentative completion for all installation and power connections for Phase 2 is 6/8.

Everything is on schedule and moving along perfectly. Thanks to everyone for their patience and cooperation and thanks to Harvest and all the contractors.

Next Board of Directors Meetings on May 9

The next monthly Board of Directors Meeting will be this Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at 7:00 PM in the BVCA Clubhouse, with the following agenda.  All homeowners are welcome and encouraged to attend the regular session meeting.  Executive sessions are not open to the membership.

Important Parking Notice

Please be advised that there will be major construction starting Monday 5/7 for the entire week to install Street Lights.

Areas will be posted for NO PARKING to allow the equipment access to the areas necessary.

Please obey the request or if absolutely necessary, vehicles will be towed.

Light Pole Replacement Project Is Underway

There are currently 45 large holes dug in the community that will be filled with concrete on Monday 4/23.  These holes are flagged, but extreme caution should be taken to avoid them.  Thank you for your cooperation and patience.

Next Board of Directors Meetings on April 11

The next monthly Board of Directors Meeting will be this Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at 7:00 PM in the BVCA Clubhouse, with the following agenda.  All homeowners are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Preceding the regular session meeting, the Board will hold an executive session with the following agenda.  Executive sessions are not open to the membership.

Association Officer Positions Updated

During the special March 26 meeting of the Board, the officer positions were updated along with the appointment of Maureen Ivins to fulfill the position vacated by Carl Schiermeyer.  The following are the new positions:

Clubhouse pool and spa

The clubhouse pool and spa are now open and ready for use.  Thank you for your patience during the renovation process.

Special General Session BOD Meeting to Appoint New Director

Carl Schiermeyer resigned as a Director of the BVCA Board effective March 14th.  The Board will hold a general session meeting on Monday, March 26th, at 4 PM for the purpose of appointing a new director.  All homeowners are invited to attend.

Light Pole Installation Plans

New light poles and LED fixtures will soon be installed throughout the community.  The following maps detail the areas affected during Phase 1 (4/2/2012 - 5/23/2012) and Phase 2 (5/1/2012 - 6/15/2012).  The maps will remain posted on the Common Area Committee page.

During the construction, there will be some "no parking" areas identified, with notices posted at residences in advance.  Your cooperation is appreciated.

Installation of new concrete bollards will follow the street light installations with a final completion date of mid August.  More information will be posted as the project progresses.
